These terms describe the basic rules for using BingedWatch and the responsibilities that come with using the app.
1. What BingedWatch is
BingedWatch is a TV and movie tracking platform that helps you save watchlists, track episode progress, organize custom lists, rate favorites, import compatible history, and understand viewing habits. BingedWatch does not stream, sell, or host copyrighted video content.
2. Accounts and responsibility
You are responsible for your account activity, login security, and the accuracy of information you provide. Do not share credentials, impersonate another person, or try to access another user's private data.
3. User-generated content
Custom lists, profile text, ratings, favorites, and other content you add must be lawful, respectful, and not harmful. We may remove content or restrict accounts that abuse the service or violate these terms.
4. Third-party media data
TV and movie metadata, posters, backdrops, ratings, cast details, and release information may come from third-party providers such as TMDB. BingedWatch is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or licensing of third-party metadata.
5. Feature changes
BingedWatch may add, change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we cannot guarantee every feature will remain available forever.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse BingedWatch, overload the service, scrape at scale, attempt to bypass authentication, upload malicious content, or use the platform for unlawful activity.
7. Privacy
Use of BingedWatch is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains what account, tracking, import, settings, and usage data may be collected and how it is used.
8. No warranty
BingedWatch is provided as is and as available. We work to keep it useful and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or perfect third-party metadata.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, BingedWatch and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages related to your use of the app.
